The Elf-Cam and Elf-Light designs use the same water-tight technology found on most commercially available lights and video housings.  Acrylic end caps with O-ring seals and stainless steel compression latches ensure a prefect seal to the PVC body.  The formula is quite simple.  These are the basic plans and any builder should feel free to modify the design to whatever suits their material availability and tools on hand.  Most importantly, have fun building your project.
